I have more than 10 years of experience teaching drums professionally and am currently accepting students of all ages and skill levels in Davis, CA.
Lessons are catered to suit students' individual interests and goals.
Some topics covered are:
- Technique
- Rhythm and general music theory
- Style interpretation (rock, jazz, funk, etc.)
- Limb independence
- Music reading
- Drum set soloing concepts
My teaching draws from private study, formal music education at UC Santa Cruz, and professional experience performing in a wide variety of musical situations.
